The spirit of Navratri extends far beyond rituals and ceremonies. It is about remembering Devi, not a distant Goddess, but the very presence surrounding us, guiding us, and lovingly calling us back to Her embrace.
Last weekend, hundreds of seekers joined Sri Guru in celebrating Navratri with the two-day Devi Utsav in Delhi.
The first evening opened with Param Satsang, where Sri Guru shared the mystical dimensions of Durga Saptashati, showing how the story of Devi’s battles with demons is not an age-old myth, but living realities within us. For so many, it was a revelation — that a centuries-old scripture could speak so directly, so personally, to the modern heart.
On the second evening, the Talkatora Stadium glowed — not just with lights, but with the luminous joy on every seeker’s face with the vibrant colors of festive attire. We began with Sri Guru’s soulful Devi Aarti, lifting the collective spirit followed by an unforgettable Garba night. Circles of Garba Raas in sync with Sri Guru wove together joy, surrender, and devotion — it became meditation in motion, a celebration of oneness.
With Garba at its peak, Sri Guru drew the gathering inward — from rhythm to stillness, from festivity into silence. The joy of outer celebration dissolved into the peace of inner union. What remained was a quiet, undeniable knowing: that Devi is not merely worshipped in temples or invoked in rituals — She is the pulse of life itself, the secret presence in every breath, the Beloved dwelling within our own heart.
