Dubai Dharma Yatra: An Oasis in the Desert

In the desert of eternity, our moments with a Guru are but grains of sand. Yet, within each grain lies the potential to unleash an ocean of transformation.

If one moment with a Guru can prove to be so powerful, imagine the potential that three days hold? Sri Guru’s most recent Dharma Yatra in Dubai, from 15th to 17th February, made this dream a reality for many grateful seekers. Over the three days of the Yatra, seekers were blessed with countless moments of Love, Bhakti, wisdom, and light-hearted fun.

Day 1

The first day’s highlight was a Bhakti Sandhya (Devotional Evening) hosted by Hemant Prabhu and Smita Prabhu in their lovely backyard. They invited seekers from their Dhyan Sangha and other community groups to an evening filled with divine love. Sri Guru’s presence and SRM Bhakti team’s soulful expressions took the audience into a trance-like state. Of the many Bhaktis presented by Avneesh Prabhu and Ashveen Prabhu, a spellbinding rendition of ‘Yeh Meri Arzi Hai’ touched the chords of everyone’s heart like none other!

Day 2

Dubai, a city known for its striking display of futuristic architecture and towering skyscrapers, witnessed a different kind of innovation on the second day of the spiritual drive. Through another memorable instance of the ‘Astitva’ series of talks and meditation, Sri Guru guided the attending seekers in constructing a “bridge” to inner stillness, enabling them to rise above the chaos of endless thoughts and connect with their true selves.

Day 3

Day 3 began with a treat for all the seekers from India who had accompanied Sri Guru on this Yatra. The group visited the Museum of Future, a museum dedicated to exploring the future of science, technology, and innovation. The museum has seven floors with exhibits based on different themes, and it takes visitors on a fictional journey to the year 2071. On the third floor, called Al Waha (‘The Oasis’), the group cherished priceless moments of silence in Sri Guru’s meditative energies. It served as a beautiful reminder that no matter how far into the future we go, the key to joy and peace will remain the same – an Enlightened Master’s presence!

Later in the day, seekers in Dubai were blessed with another unforgettable evening Samagam, during which Sri Guru beautifully connected the first verse of Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra with love and longing for God.

Sri Guru’s joyful words, her peaceful radiance, and her loving presence proved to be an oasis in the desert of Dubai, quenching our spiritual thirst, while also arousing a longing to experience the wondrous state that she lives in!
