Take a pencil or a pen. Put it in a glass of water. Do you see the pen getting bent beneath the water surface?
Of course, it is not the pen that bends. But the water that makes it appear so. In physics, this is known as refraction.
Now, take a look around you. Do you notice distinct things and people, separated from each other by clear and crisp boundaries?
Of course, there is no separation in reality. But the veil of Maya that makes it appear so. In spirituality, this is known as illusion.
Remove the water, and you get your straight pen back. Remove the veil of Maya, and what remains is the experience of Oneness.

Take away point:- ‘Remove the veil of Maya, and that what remains is the experience of oneness…‘ The sooner we come out of the illusion, we start experiencing oneness. Thus, once we start loving everyone and be in prem with everyone, the belief that everything is one, the illusion of being seperate from each other drops out and the experience of oneness becomes effortless.

So very true… It’s all just a play, a Leela! But this illusion, this veil of maya cannot ever be removed by ourselves. It is the compassion of a Pratyaksh Sadguru who holds our hands and blesses us with different tools of Satsang, Seva, Bhakti and Sadhna to bring us out, rather to pull us out from the trap of maya. It’s that one blissful moment of our life when a Pratyaksh Sadguru enters in our lives and turns the table for us to play the game of life and just to be the master of our lives and ourselves..!
