All the beauty in the world is beautiful because it flows unconditionally. When fragrance flows through a flower, it is not restricted to a particular bee. If the flower were to conceal its true nature from all but one bee, it would become so unnatural that it would forget to radiate its fragrance, even when that bee is around.
Love is the echo of our true nature. When this nature is confined to ‘one’ or ‘some’, the echo eventually dies out. And it makes us wonder if we have any love left to give. Instead of giving, we start seeking. This seeking of love from outside is nothing but lust, dependency, slavery and bondage.
Don’t choke your very nature. Don’t seek something that we have in unlimited abundance. Just like a flower, let it flow from inside to outside, such that it touches anyone who gets close enough. That is your beauty. That is Love.
