One fine evening, when both the Sun and the Moon were visible in the sky, a curious disciple asked his Guru some questions about something that seemed more mysterious than the deepest mysteries of the Cosmos.
Disciple: If the one word description of the Moon is beauty, and the one word description of the Sun is life, what is the one word description of Love?
Guru: The one word description of Love is air.
Disciple: If the Moon becomes more beautiful with the darkness of night, and the Sun becomes more beautiful at dusk & dawn alike, how is Love’s beauty enhanced?
Guru: Love’s beauty is enhanced when it is adorned with the four crown jewels – Devotion, Surrender, Faith, and Prayer.
Disciple: If the Moon’s nature is to wax and wane, and the Sun’s nature is to light and burn, what is the nature of Love?
Guru: The nature of Love is to spread and expand.
Disciple: If the Moon is worshipped on some festival nights like Eid and Karva Chauth, and the Sun is worshipped daily as a morning ritual, what is the worship day and ritual of Love?
Guru: The worship day of Love is the day you realise its presence in the form of a Guru. And every day thereafter. And the ritual is to express it back for the rest of eternity.
Disciple: If Neil Armstrong was the first human to walk on the Moon, and the Parker Solar Probe the first human invention to touch the Sun, who was the first individual to find Love?
Guru: There is no individual who has found Love, as the one who finds Love doesn’t remain an individual, but becomes one with the Whole..!
