A village was enduring one of the most severe droughts in its history. After months of fruitless prayers and patience, the villagers decided to seek help from a saint who lived in a nearby forest.
The saint listened to their troubles calmly and promised, “Tomorrow, I will come to your village and perform a Yajna for rain.”
It did not take long for the news to spread like wildfire. The next morning, the villagers gathered for the Yajna with their offerings – grains, ghee, fruits, flowers etc. And to their utter surprise and sheer delight, it started raining the moment the rituals concluded! Overjoyed, everyone rushed to the saint to express their gratitude.
The village chief bowed and said, “Rishivar, we cannot thank you enough for this miracle! We are forever indebted to you!”
Pointing to a small boy in the crowd, the saint said, “No, you are indebted to that boy, the only person who brought an umbrella today. It was the offering of his faith that made the Yajna successful.”

Faith a word which is easily used and often used, but it is easier to use this word then to put in action.
