In the countless cycles of birth and death, we have been blessed with several chances to grow under the grace of a Guru. Yet, we missed the divine opportunity and hence, increased our plight and sorrows. We missed the chance not because a Guru wasn’t there, we missed because we were not prepared. Shraddha (faith) is the tool that ensures that Guru’s presence in our life doesn’t go futile. It is when we develop this virtue, that we become eligible to see beyond the limited physical boundaries of a Guru’s existence, and witness their limitless state.

The ability to realise a Guru’s Dasha and follow the path shown by utmost sincerity, is not a matter of chance and nor does it develop overnight. A seeker needs to carefully ponder upon a few subtler aspects to judge if he is on the path to ascend, or descend.
