Sri Guru gives the multi-dimensional purpose of the Navratri, with special emphasis on the symbolic (spiritual) meaning of worshiping the Nau Devis, followed by a short meditation practice.

The nine days of Navratri mark the beginning of an auspicious season of celebration throughout the Indian culture. The Nau Devis have been propounded in our scriptures as the nine distinct manifestations of the One primordial energy that pervades everywhere in this Universe. Each day of Navratri is devoted to invoking one of these nine manifestations. It is a time not just for performing worldly rituals but also refining our inner thoughts, strengthening our inner virtues, and diving deep into Sadhana.
