God is nearer than the nearest; and Spirituality serves as the mirror through which this nearness is recognised. Once realised, the ups and downs of life appear as nothing more than a divine play, a ‘Leela’. The first six sutras of the Shiva Sutra encapsulate the entire path to this awakening.
