As Lord Mahaveer approached His birth as a Tirthankar, starting from His 23rd birth as Priyamitra Chakravati, fundamental questions about the futility of the external world began surfacing His consciousness. This constant sense of void propelled His spiritual journey further.

In this Veer Katha series, we’ve witnessed remarkable ups and downs in Lord Mahaveer’s past lives. Yet, none of these could deter Him from realising His eternal abode, that too within just a few lifetimes. Reason being that Lord Mahaveer was a ‘Kshapit Karmanshi Jeev,’ i.e. His karmas bore results swiftly, without extending over countless births.

Through Lord Mahaveer’s 25th birth as Nandam Muni (or Nandan Kumar), Sri Guru sheds light on the primary bhaavs (emotions) that contributed to the development of Tirthankaratva within Bhagwan Mahaveer.

The Veer Katha series by Sri Guru is an opportunity to take a closer look at the Lord’s illustrious journey toward liberation, to introspect upon the many flaws and shortcomings that kept Him from enlightenment, and to aspire for the many virtues depicted throughout His births.
