No other festival brings us together quite like Navratri, a time when the entire nation comes alive for nine days of celebration and festivity. SRM Delhi joined in the festivities and welcomed the sacred Devi energies of Navratri through a first of its kind event—Devi Utsav. Graced by the presence of Sri Guru, seekers celebrated the Divine Feminine power by participating in a devotional Garba, followed by a meditation practice.
The celebrations started with the Aarti of Maa Adya Shakti, the omnipresent energy that creates and drives the universe. Sri Guru explained how this event was an ideal opportunity for a seeker to surrender to the Universal Mother’s unwavering love, grace, and compassion. A couple of Nritya Bhakti performances paid reverence to the Divine Mother, leading to the much-anticipated Prem Raas Garba, led by Sri Guru herself! The Master’s exuberance filled the stadium, as seekers immersed themselves in the devotional dance. From this euphoric peak, Sri Guru guided the seekers into an intense meditation practice that connected every seeker with the Divine Feminine within.
