Glimpses from Mission Happiness | SRM Sanskaar

Every great endeavor begins with a seed of intention. SRM Sanskaar’s Mission Happiness, envisioned by Sri Guru, was born from a pure-hearted intention: what if children were given, early in life, not just knowledge, but the right tools to live joyfully, speak with care, and own their peace?

On Saturday, 25th April 2026, that vision came alive. Young seekers between the ages of 10 and 14 gathered for the inaugural edition of this full-day workshop — a day crafted not for the mind alone, but for the heart, the body, and the spirit.

The workshop opened with Deep Prajwalan, followed by a soulful Manglacharan that settled every young heart into stillness and receptivity. From thereon, the day took a joyful turn. A vibrant, dance-inspired YogaYog session filled the room with movement, laughter, and an aliveness that was impossible to contain. The energy was then gently channeled inward through a peaceful guided meditation. And even the young ones could experience a truth as old as time: that stillness and joy are not opposites, they are companions.

The heart of the morning was a delightful exploration of two life-changing principles. In the first session, children discovered that words carry an extraordinary power — that they are, in a very real sense, like magic spells, quietly shaping thoughts, habits, and character over time. The second session, offered a reminder as simple as it is revolutionary: the key to happiness lies within us — not in external circumstances, not in other people, but in the quality of our own inner life. Both principles were discussed through real-life examples, stories from scriptures, skits, and interactive activities that made them relevant and easy to grasp.

After a short lunch break and a well-deserved power nap, the children returned. And the afternoon more than matched the morning’s richness. A moving Radha-Krishna play captivated the young seekers’ minds while helping them learn invaluable life-lessons, followed by a stirring Mantra session that filled the space with collective vibration and shared joy. In a beautiful thread activity, children sat together in circles, wove threads between their hands, and chanted in unison — a simple gesture that carried within it a profound truth about inner community, connection, and the invisible threads that bind all hearts.

The day closed as beautifully as it had begun. In an open session of experience sharing, the children spoke from the heart about what had moved them, what they were taking home, and what they were curious to explore further. Heartfelt commitments were made with a genuine sparkle, a readiness to read, to reflect, and to grow.
