Life gives us chances and choices.
Birth is a chance (choice) to take part in the miraculous act of creation.
Childhood is a chance (choice) to learn that the act of creation is nothing but a game.
Youth is a chance (choice) to observe the fluctuating nature of success and struggle, friends and foes, setbacks and comebacks, and everything else that life offers. And to realise the transience of it all.
Work is a chance (choice) to make the most of this transient life by becoming an instrument of the Cosmic Composer and serving His creation.
Marriage is a chance (choice) to rise above the turbulence of animal instincts, selfish expectations and societal norms, and fly with a co-traveller towards the ultimate destination of pure Love.
Old age is a chance (choice) to get rid of all excess baggage and prepare to travel light in the next leg of your journey of lifetimes.
Death is a chance (choice) to do it all over again, without repeating the same mistakes.
Life gives us chances and choices. Not once. Not twice. But as many times as needed for us to recognise the chances and make the right choices.
