Fix Your Lens

We are often quick to judge people.

“He is always late to work.”

“She talks so rudely.”

“All his actions are self-centred.”

This judgmental lens obstructs our perception of the underlying oneness that connects us all.

Spirituality provides two perspectives to replace this judgmental attitude with empathy and compassion –

1. Every human being is simply a product of their belief system, past situations, and past Karma. This trio collectively forms what is known as an individual’s causal body. Imagine exchanging your causal body with someone you dislike—you would start behaving exactly like them.
2. When you can feel a sense of connection with those who share the same blood as you, why not feel that connection with those who are made up of the same fundamental energy as you?

So, which perspective are you going to choose?

Ok, that was a trick question. Why choose one, when you can have both?

Here are two simple statements to imprint both these perspectives in your heart:

• You would have done the same.

• You are the same.
